About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering patient care programs and maintaining a safe, effective environment. This role is designed for students to gain professional experience while contributing to patient health outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Deliver patient care programs and support inventory and workflow management.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve better health outcomes.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Location: Woodbridge, New Jersey.
- This is a paid, part-time, on-site role.
