About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will help patients manage their health through patient care programs and customer service. This role is part-time and offers the chance to gain professional experience while completing your pharmacy education.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and lead with empathy for both patients and colleagues.
- Support a team culture that focuses on caring and enthusiasm.
- Ensure pharmacy practice follows all regulatory requirements.
- Manage patient care programs and assist with inventory and workflow.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and remaining upright for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
