About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position based in Madison, Mississippi. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice under the direction of a preceptor. This program helps you develop skills for future Pharmacist roles through a structured training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly.
- Follow company SOPs to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and call them to clarify prescriptions.
- Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law.
What you'll need#
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
- Ability to complete required training within a designated timeframe.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
