About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will assist in maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Show empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Build a team culture that encourages energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Manage daily pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
