About the role#
This Physician Associate Student Rotation provides practical education within an ambulatory care setting. Students gain exposure to clinical operations, insurance procedures, and evidence-based guidelines while observing how corporate support structures integrate with clinical practice. This is an unpaid, full-time clinical rotation program with rolling availability.
What you'll do#
- Prepare for practice in ambulatory care settings.
- Participate in patient care for individuals aged 18 months and older, covering acute and chronic conditions, women's health exams, and physicals.
- Gain visibility into electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinic operations.
- Develop an understanding of the relationship between corporate administration and daily clinical practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Physician Associate program with an executed Affiliation Agreement already in place with MinuteClinic.
- Verification of eligibility for clinical rotation from program faculty.
- Ability to maintain academic standards throughout the rotation.
- Adherence to all local and federal laws regarding eligibility.
- Completion of the COVID-19 vaccination requirement or an approved accommodation.
