About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations while gaining professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to patients and assist in managing patient care programs.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and collaboration to achieve better outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Perform tasks related to patient safety, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, scanning, and bagging items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to remain mobile, stand for extended periods, and perform precise tasks using finger dexterity and visual acuity.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
