Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations while gaining professional experience.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients and assist in managing patient care programs.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and collaboration to achieve better outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
• Perform tasks related to patient safety, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, scanning, and bagging items.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to remain mobile, stand for extended periods, and perform precise tasks using finger dexterity and visual acuity.

• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
