About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering quality care, managing patient programs, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Support patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to seek new ways to grow and improve outcomes.
- Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs and remaining upright for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Employment type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $42.00 per hour.
- This position is paid and eligible for benefits including dental, vision, and wellness resources depending on hours worked.
