About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and operational support within a retail pharmacy setting. You will help patients manage their health through various care programs while gaining professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Support patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Adjust machines to exact positions as needed for operational tasks.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, stooping, and using finger dexterity to handle items.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Possession of, or the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the specified timeframe.

- Location: Mineola, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling terms.
- Compensation: $20.75 to $25.25 per hour.
