About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient care and ensure a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on managing patient care programs, maintaining regulatory standards, and contributing to a team culture centered on empathy and enthusiasm.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care and support pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
- Manage and promote patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Facilitate a positive team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Complete all required training and maintain licensure within state guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, workflow, and quality assurance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring dexterity and visual acuity.
