About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist in delivering patient care, maintaining a safe pharmacy environment, and supporting daily operations. This role focuses on helping patients manage their health and ensuring the pharmacy runs effectively.
What you'll do#
- Support patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Foster a team culture that values caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and provide customer service.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Possession of, or progress toward, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Location: Gainesville, Texas.
- This is a part-time, on-site, and paid position.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
