About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations. This role is designed to prepare you for future responsibilities as a pharmacist through hands-on experience and a structured training roadmap. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to gain an overview of store and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team in daily tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and providing caring service.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical principles regarding pharmacy practice.
- Maintain focus on tasks and confirm prescription information to ensure patient safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to confirm prescription labels and information.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: Paid position ($23.00 - $28.00 per hour).
