About the role#
We are looking for a Student Help member to join our Clinical Nutrition team. This is a part-time position at the University Hospital in Madison. You will gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting while supporting patient care and departmental operations.
What you'll do#
- Visit adult patients to help them order their meals.
- Track and calculate calorie counts based on what patients eat.
- Provide administrative support to the department.
- Assist with various projects and departmental initiatives.
- Collect and present data and information.
- Perform entry-level tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at a post-secondary college or university.
- We prefer candidates with a field of study related to nutrition, public health, health administration, nursing, or biomedical sciences.
- You should have previous experience in customer service, administration, or your specific field of study.
Location & details#
- Location: University Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: This is a 15% FTE role requiring work on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- This position is on-site and paid.
