About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position for Summer 2026. You will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice under the guidance of a preceptor. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations to prepare for future responsibilities as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled accurately.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations and demonstrates empathy in all interactions.
- Support immunization services, including educating patients and monitoring for reactions, as permitted by law.
- Follow standard operating procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Maintain inventory, including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Capability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
