About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient care, regulatory compliance, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering quality service to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Handle inventory and workflow management tasks, excluding final prescription verification.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion while interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Facilitate a positive team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes and support company goals.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy professional practices and quality assurance standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.

- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
