About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to prepare for a future Pharmacist role. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to gain hands-on experience through a comprehensive training roadmap, which includes key learning experiences, activities, and exposure to store, district, and regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap to build clinical and operational aptitude.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly, including prescription fulfillment at production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off stations.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions.
- Follow all company standard operating procedures at each workstation.
- Support patient immunizations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain focus and attention to detail when confirming prescription information and label accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention and focus, with the ability to concentrate on tasks over extended periods.
- Ability to pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and mathematical reasoning for prescription processing.

- Location: Upper Arlington, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, with requirements for regular attendance including nights and weekends.
- Term: Rolling.
