About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will focus on delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a part-time role that requires regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care programs to help customers manage their health.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Foster a team culture centered on caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Maintain inventory and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Location: Charleston, West Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- This position is part-time and eligible for benefits including dental, vision, and wellness resources depending on hours worked.
