Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe working environment, and participating in patient care programs to improve health outcomes. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional patient care and assist in maintaining a safe, effective pharmacy environment.
• Participate in patient care programs and contribute to inventory and workflow management.
• Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver better health outcomes and support team culture.
• Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possession of, or the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, as is immunization eligibility.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
• Status: Part-time, paid internship.
