Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care, inventory management, and workflow operations while gaining professional experience in a healthcare setting.

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient while modeling company values.
• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and team members.
• Collaborate with the team to improve health outcomes and promote a culture of enthusiasm and pride.
• Assist with patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy professional practice.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory tasks.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Ability to obtain or hold a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
