Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering patient care, managing patient care programs, and contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of pharmacy operations.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional patient care while displaying empathy and compassion for patients and coworkers.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
• Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment by adhering to regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, stooping, and maintaining an upright position for extended periods.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and timelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
