Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to a team culture centered on empathy and professional growth.

What you'll do#

• Provide compassionate care to patients, customers, and caregivers.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and inventory management.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
• Complete all required training within state-mandated guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
