Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with pharmacy operations, and managing patient care programs to improve health outcomes.

What you'll do#

• Ensure patient safety and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and pharmacy professional practice guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Maintain regular attendance, including the ability to work nights and weekends.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging items, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Location: Stratford, New Jersey.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time with rolling term.
• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
