Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management. You will gain professional experience while supporting the pharmacy team in delivering quality care to patients.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and model company values.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Manage patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.
• Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and support pharmacy operations.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, scanning, bagging, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state, or in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
