About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will help patients manage their health through patient care programs and contribute to the daily operations of the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to every patient.

- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with customers and team members.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and caring.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory management.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, scanning items, and remaining upright for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform tasks involving finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, New Jersey.
- This is a part-time, on-site, and paid position.
- The term is rolling.
