Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience in patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management. You will contribute to team culture and help manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients and demonstrate empathy for customers and caregivers.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep patients healthy.
• Maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment, including inventory and workflow management.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Once state regulations are met, strive to provide patient immunizations.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precision tasks.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Pay Range: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
