Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations, including patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management.

• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for pharmacy operations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Availability for a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
