Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, managing patient care programs, and contributing to a positive team culture.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and display empathy and compassion.
• Manage patient care programs to support patient health.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Assist with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, workflow management, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Complete all required training within state-mandated guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or the active process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to remain mobile, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs and reaching.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
