Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, effective environment while delivering exceptional care to patients. This position involves managing patient care programs, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to a positive team culture.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient while displaying empathy and compassion.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Manage patient care programs to support patient health.
• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Assist with inventory management, workflow, and quality assurance.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.

• Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
