Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care, inventory management, and workflow operations, contributing to the company's commitment to increasing access and improving the quality of health care.

• Handle tasks related to patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
