Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, managing patient care programs, and maintaining a safe, effective work environment. You will play an integral part in the pharmacy team, helping customers manage their health and chronic conditions.

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient while displaying empathy and compassion.

• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Part-time.
• Compensation: $20.75 - $25.25 per hour.
• Eligible majors include Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, and Public Health.
