As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy workflows, and supporting regulatory requirements. This position focuses on patient safety, quality assurance, and the active management of patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Participate in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Facilitate the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Assist with inventory management, workflow management, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing precision control for pharmacy tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
