Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care, including managing patient care programs and assisting with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and workflow management.

• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or bending to move items.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
