Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role is designed for students to gain professional experience within a retail pharmacy environment while contributing to patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management.

What you'll do#

• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Maintain and support patient care programs.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Assist with customer service, inventory management, and workflow operations.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
