About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position for the Fall 2026 term. The role supports the marketing and communications efforts of Waco Habitat for Humanity and ReStore. You will work 20 hours per week between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please note this is an off-campus position requiring reliable transportation and eligibility for Federal Work-Study.
What you'll do#
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and stories, to promote organizational mission and activities.
- Execute digital strategies to increase community engagement and event awareness.
- Manage and update social media platforms.
- Develop and schedule creative content for social media campaigns.
- Track analytics and engagement metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Assist with website updates and media publishing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Knowledge of major social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Basic skills in Canva.
- Reliability for an off-campus work environment.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
