About the role#
This position provides administrative support within the Baylor Sciences and Facilities department. You will work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm. This is a paid, on-site role for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide general office assistance and support.
- Greet visitors and clients, answer inquiries, and provide information.
- Handle filing, track information, and submit work orders.
- Answer and screen phone calls.
- Maintain files and reports while ensuring the confidentiality of information.
- Assist faculty, staff, and students with various projects and tasks.
- Maintain shared office spaces.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word for daily duties.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer office software and office equipment.
- Knowledge of general clerical skills.
- Ability to comply with University policies and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Communications.

- Location: Baylor Science Building, D111, 101 Bagby Ave, Waco, TX 76706.
- Pay: $8.00 per hour.
