About the role#
The Graduate Student Worker supports the implementation of the Avanzando to Success and Avanzando Through College programs within the Office of Student Success and Engagement. This position works collaboratively with program staff to foster the academic, personal, and professional development of participants while promoting student persistence and achievement.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the coordination of workshops and events.
- Conduct student outreach and engagement activities.
- Manage program communications.
- Perform data collection and tracking tasks.
- Support administrative and programmatic initiatives.
- Facilitate activities that encourage leadership development and academic progression.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a graduate student.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage administrative and programmatic tasks.
- Interest in supporting student success and engagement initiatives.
Location & details#
- Location: Baylor University, Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: Minimum of 8 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Status: This is a paid, part-time, on-site graduate student employee position with an ongoing term.
