Graduate Student Worker- Adelante/Avanzando program

About the role#

The Graduate Student Worker supports the implementation of the Avanzando to Success and Avanzando Through College programs within the Office of Student Success and Engagement. This role involves working collaboratively with program staff to foster student persistence, academic achievement, and leadership development. The position is paid at a rate of $20 per hour.

What you'll do#

• Support the execution of Avanzando to Success and Avanzando Through College initiatives.
• Assist with the coordination of workshops and events.
• Manage student outreach, engagement efforts, and program communications.
• Perform data collection and tracking tasks.
• Handle general administrative and programmatic duties to support student success.
• Help facilitate activities that promote personal, professional, and academic growth for program participants.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a graduate student.
• Academic background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, Communications, or Public Health.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills for event coordination and administrative tasks.

Location & details#

• Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Minimum of 8 hours per week, scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
• Term: Rolling, ongoing employment.
