About the role#
The String Project Class Assistant supports the Baylor University School of Music by co-teaching and assisting with weekly group lessons. This role allows students to apply instructional methods learned in their degree coursework while fostering educational growth for participants.
What you'll do#
- Co-teach and assist with weekly group lessons.
- Identify educational needs and provide assistance to students as needed.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide information and customer service to constituents.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all pertinent information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a string music education or string performance major.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco Hall East, Room GL 29, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: Maximum of 2 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Compensation: $10 per hour.
