About the role#
This position supports the Baylor University String Project. You will co-teach and assist with weekly group lessons, applying instructional methods from your degree coursework to help students learn. This is a paid, part-time student worker role.
What you'll do#
- Assist students with their academic subjects.
- Foster educational growth by identifying student needs.
- Co-teach and support weekly group lessons.
- Maintain a safe environment for all participants.
- Provide helpful information and service to constituents.
- Keep all pertinent information confidential.
What you'll need#
- You must be a string music education major or a string performance major.
- Ability to comply with all University policies.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco Hall East, Room GL 29, 624 Speight Ave, Waco, TX.
- Schedule: Maximum of 2 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
- Term: Fall 2026.
