About the role#
This position supports the Office of Community Relations within the Division of Marketing and Communications. You will focus on promoting the La Fiera concert taking place on April 11, 2027, at the Paul and Alejandra Foster Pavilion. The role involves 10 to 15 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Distribute promotional materials across Waco and host tabling events.
- Drive ticket sales and community engagement initiatives.
- Create and design content for print or digital platforms.
- Write, proofread, and edit marketing communications.
- Maintain department websites and social media channels.
- Edit video content and operate photo, video, and audio equipment.
- Conduct research on marketing trends and provide recommendations.
- Track social media performance and prepare analytical reports.
- Coordinate with campus partners and external vendors for events, printing, and photography.
- Manage administrative tasks and support general project needs.
- Provide customer service to the community.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Reliability in maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to following all University policies.

- Location: Robinson Tower 332, 700 S. University Parks Dr., Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Spring 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $10.00 per hour.
