About the role#
The Office Assistant provides administrative support to on-campus communities at Baylor University. This role serves as a primary resource for residents, parents, visitors, and faculty, helping to maintain the front desk operations and ensuring the safety and security of the residential community.
What you'll do#
- Monitor door security and report issues to the appropriate residence hall staff.
- Assist residents with room access, including managing unlock codes.
- Facilitate equipment check-outs and maintain accurate records for log books, maintenance issues, and lost and found items.
- Enforce and uphold housing policies and procedures.
- Support residents in communicating concerns to the hall staff.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned by the Residence Hall Director.
