About the role#
The Acrobatics and Tumbling Student Manager supports the daily operations of the Baylor University athletics program. This on-site position provides hands-on experience in NCAA Division I athletics by assisting with team preparation, equipment management, and travel logistics. This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Kinesiology, Human Resources, Health Administration, or Communications.
What you'll do#
- Attend all mandatory meetings, meets, and team functions.
- Assist with office paperwork and equipment room organization.
- Manage laundry by providing clean items twice a week and placing them in athlete lockers.
- Set up and collect uniforms and necessary equipment for home and away meets.
- Film practice footage using iPads and upload files to the team Dropbox.
- Set up video delay technology during practices and play music for team events.
- Maintain team locker rooms and keep inventory of storage units with monthly reports.
- Support travel logistics, including picking up snacks, preparing per diem envelopes, and managing bus driver payments.
- Assist with on-campus recruiting activities and distribute team-issued gear.
- Keep score tallies and record events on iPads during meets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Baylor University with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage tasks independently.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment.

- Compensation: Paid position ($8-$9 per hour depending on experience).
- Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week, with adjustments as needed for practices and meets.
