About the role#
Nexteer Automotive offers a co-op program designed to provide students with hands-on work experience in a technical environment. You will rotate through various financial functions to connect your classroom education with real world business operations. This is a paid, full time student position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with plant finance operations.
- Support financial planning and analysis tasks.
- Manage accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct financial analysis for business lines.
- Handle fixed asset records.
- Work with cross-functional teams and support corporate tax or prototype center projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Full time student status at a college or university local to Saginaw.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to maintain 12 credit hours during the fall and winter semesters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Saginaw, Michigan.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 to 32 hours per week during school terms, with the option for up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Terms: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Note: This position does not offer employer-sponsored work authorization.
