About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Human Resources Co-Op position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Saginaw, Michigan, supporting the daily activities of the Hourly HR Office. The role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment to help you connect your classroom education with practical workplace tasks.
What you'll do#
- Review weekly attendance reports and distribute notices.
- Manage administrative forms for jury duty and bereavement, including filing copies and submitting them to payroll.
- Coordinate training sessions for new supervisors alongside subject matter experts.
- Schedule and track supervisor and team leader NPS assessments.
- Process grievances, handle disciplinary documentation, and file performance evaluations.
- Assist the HR team with interviews and new hire orientations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2-year or 4-year college or university local to Saginaw.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Full-time student status (12 or more credits) during the semester.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, documentation, and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in the human resources field.

- Work schedule: 20-32 hours per week during the semester.
