About the role#
The Student Food Service Associate supports daily operations within the Baylor Eats dining environment. This position focuses on the preparation, service, and distribution of food and beverages to ensure a positive dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation, service, and distribution of food and beverages.
- Provide customer service to dining guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout work areas.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils.
- Store food in designated areas following proper wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at Baylor University.
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Commitment to providing a positive dining experience.
- Majors preferred: Nutrition, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, or Sociology.
