About the role#
This is a credit-based internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work directly with the Director of Business Development at Genesis Hospitality. The role focuses on product development, design, and management within the retail and hospitality sectors. This is an on-site position based in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Help conceptualize, brand, manufacture, and merchandise a new line of retail products for a French bakery.
- Research market and competitor pricing to provide insights for strategy.
- Track product inventory and analyze sales reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and update training manuals for bakery staff to explain product details.
- Coordinate with the Marketing department on branding, advertising, and retail layout planning.
- Participate in meetings with international vendors.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at an accredited college pursuing a degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- You should be able to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- You need strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A professional image is expected for all in-person and phone interactions.
- Chinese language skills are a plus but are not required.
