About the role#
This is a paid, for-credit internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will support the Director of Business Development at Genesis Hospitality, a division of Genesis Global Group. The role focuses on the development, design, and management of retail products for a French bakery.
What you'll do#
- Help conceptualize, brand, manufacture, and merchandise a new line of retail products.
- Research competitor pricing and market trends to provide insights to the Director of Business Development.
- Track product inventory and analyze sales reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing department to create branding, advertising, and store displays.
- Create and update training manuals for bakery staff regarding product details.
- Assist with planning the retail layout to improve the customer shopping experience.
- Participate in meetings with international vendors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, Communications, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional image and communication style for in-person and phone interactions.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Chinese language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Before accepting this role, verify with your school's Internship Coordinator that this position meets your academic requirements for credit.
Location & details#
- Location: Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site position. You must report to the Hamilton office every workday.
