About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member for the Palouse Empire area. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Pullman, Washington. You will work under the supervision of the area director to develop your ministry skills and personal character while supporting local outreach efforts.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and maintain professional standards in conduct and time management.
- Participate in team-led club and discipleship ministry.
- Assist with administrative tasks and office operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree. Relevant fields include Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Philosophy, Sociology, Business Administration, Political Science, or Kinesiology.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a minister of the gospel.

- Pay: $17.30 to $21.45 per hour, depending on education and experience.
