About the role#
The GCU Student Staff I Worship Lead position focuses on spiritual development, leadership, and ministry support within the Young Life community. This role requires a commitment to the organization's mission and involves working with a team to facilitate ministry activities for adolescents.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster spiritual development.
- Lead teams and individuals in their spiritual growth.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct Young Life club activities.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Assist in office administration tasks when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with preferred majors including Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Philosophy, Business Administration, Marketing, Sociology, or Political Science.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith and commitment to the organization's ministry functions.
Location & details#
- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, 6 hours per week during the 9-month school season.
- Compensation: Paid position at $15.35 per hour.
