About the role#
The East Tucson Student Staff role involves active participation in the Young Life mission of evangelism and discipleship. This position requires a commitment to spiritual growth, leadership development, and direct ministry engagement. Staff members are expected to subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and fulfill ministry functions as a servant of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life through prayer, reflection, and study.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Engage in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camp activities.
- Recruit and train volunteer leaders to build effective teams.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain consistent donor care practices.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, including those regarding conduct, office administration, and time management.
- Participate in regional and area training events to develop ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a college degree in fields such as Psychology, Philosophy, Public Health, Human Resources, or Communications.
- Proven relational skills with both adolescents and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith and willingness to minister as a representative of the organization.

- Location: Tucson, Arizona.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $15,964 per year.
