About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member for El Dorado County. This role focuses on spiritual leadership, ministry development, and community engagement. The position requires a commitment to the organization's Christian mission and involves both internal ministry functions and external resource development.
What you'll do#
- Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Engage in contact work, club activities, and discipleship ministry.
- Recruit and train volunteer leaders.
- Assist with office administration, expense reporting, and general business tasks.
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan and participate in required training events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for majors in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or Sociology.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a minister of the gospel.
