About the role#
Interns play a central role in the Young Life camping ministry. This position is for individuals who want to lead others, serve with excellence, and grow in their relationship with Christ. You will work alongside other interns and staff to serve guests and kids while developing as a leader in ministry. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide opportunities for staff to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
- Participate in Bible study, fellowship, worship, and mentor meetings.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of guests, staff, and vendors.
- Maintain a healthy community with other interns and staff by resolving conflict in a Godly manner.
- Provide oversight and leadership to camp volunteers.
- Manage finances, people, buildings, and equipment with integrity.
- Support a culture of safety for all guests, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
- Execute daily responsibilities for camp operations.
What you'll need#
- Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
- Subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and organizational policies.
- High school diploma.
- A teachable spirit and a sincere hunger to grow in a relationship with Jesus.
- Demonstrated qualities of faithfulness.
- Previous experience as Volunteer Summer Staff is preferred.
