About the role#
This Student Staff I position in Lincoln City, Oregon, serves as a part-time ministry role focused on evangelism and discipleship. You will act as the senior leader for one Young Life or WyldLife club. This role involves working closely with current mission staff to support local ministry operations and eventually transition into expanded leadership responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Lead individuals and teams in spiritual development.
- Conduct Young Life club and Campaigners ministry sessions.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Recruit and train new volunteer leaders.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Implement ministry strategies for both summer and school-season camping.
- Model excellence in contact work and club activities.
- Raise financial support and maintain consistent donor care.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A profession of belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- Subscription to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
