About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member in Pasadena, California. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 10 hours of work per week. The role is on-site and follows a rolling term. As a religious institution, Young Life requires all employees to subscribe to its Statement of Faith and fulfill ministry functions as part of their role.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in their own spiritual development.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Participate with a team to conduct Young Life club and Campaigners meetings.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain ongoing donor care.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports as needed.
- Attend regional and area training events to build ministry skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in fields like Communications, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Proven ability to build relationships with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
